It took me weeks to decide on a new roof color! I'd always had black and didn't much care for it until it had faded! I drove around my neighborhood multiple times, looking at roofs that were on houses with similar roof lines (I have a 1 1/2 story house - a roof will look different on a full 2-story), and then told my roofer the addresses. He told me what color they were (he had done several of them!) and that was how I finally made a decision.

Cedar Falls looks really busy to my eye. Since you have multiple materials on the facade of your home it might be better to go with something more uniform in color? We got "charcoal" from Timberline and absolutely love it- and the guy who did our roofing told us that a color like charcoal is much less likely to get unsightly stains from algae down the road.
