Cursor jumping around

When writing a post if I click to place the cursor elsewhere like the end of a word to correct spelling or add some verbiage, the cursor will often jump to somewhere else after I type the first letter. I've not noticed this before today but have also not used Houzz/Gardenweb for the past 2 weeks.

Machine: Macbook Pro / MacOS 10.14.1 / Safari 12.0.1
