My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Bedroom ideas with this green bed

I'm looking to put this green teal upholstered bed in this space and possibly paint the room as well as get some new furniture to put around it.


Anyone worked w/ a bed like this or have some suggestions on what furniture may go with it. We will likely not change the carpet or anything so really just more what tone bedroom furniture would go with it and what are some wall paint options. Looking for a modern yet cozy, homey traditional feel if that makes sense.

    Will you be dressing the bed similarly to the photo? You can go light or dark on your walls. Here are some pics for ideas:

    Dark, moody, luxe. Notice the pink and grey. (On my monitor, the walls look navy and the back pillow looks purple.)

    Light walls, teal bed, furniture and art. Gold accents. Notice the rug.

    Light walls, greys, black, gold, wood floors and an oriental rug - eclectic


    Light (silver?) walls, black, mirror, pink and lots of white

    Teal and white - looks about 50/50.

    Charcoal (navy?) walls, white and more teal. Notice the light floor.

    Hope this helps you think of colour combinations.
