Warm Marble colors for Kitchen Counter

I'm planning a new kitchen and thought I wanted Carrara counters but there is too much gray which is a color I probably won't be using in my house. I'm drawn to warmer earth tones but also love jewel tone colors. The inset cabinets will be painted F & B Shaded White. The ceiling will be natural cypress and oak floors will be stained dark. My sink is a stainless undermount and the bridge faucet is polished nickel. I'm going for a classic, timeless look. Don't want to use Calcatta Gold but saw a slab of Danby marble that looked warm. I might use unlacquered brass hardware. The hardware in the rest of my house is oil rubbed bronze. Any suggestions?

Zalco......I’ve had the cutting board for years so actually don’t remember the exact company but I did purchase it online from a place that will make one up to your exact specifications (there are a bunch out there). They also had a varied selection of wood species available to choose from with options for end grain etc. It’s 3 feet long and 24 inches wide...I love the darned thing :)

I second the Danby idea for warmth. Plus, it is quarried here in the US as well. Calacatta would be the other warm choice as you mentioned. You could also look at some of the quartzites as well but I don’t know the specific names.

You have two great choices. I love them both. It will be down to the slabs you find. Why are you opposed to calacatta gold?

The warm marbles often command quite the price premium. Quartz might be a more budget alternative for you. Like Silestone Lusso.

I also was looking for a warm colored marble with no gray but in addition wanted very subtle veining and the calacatta that had that characteristic just cost way too much. Danby is beautiful but along with the calacatta was very pricy and there was not much available here. I am drawn to warm colors and although there is some gorgeous Carrera out there it just didn’t have the warmth I was looking for. We used honed Bianco Avian in our kitchen, powder room, and master bath. It is beautifully creamy white with no gray. It‘s not heavily veined in the typical Carrera way. Then entire counter is very subtle.

Two great choices! I agree that it will probably come down to the slabs you find. I don't know if you have Arizona Tile in your area, but that is where I found my Imperial Danby slabs. They seem to have exclusive rights to that particular Danby in my region. I considered Calacatta gold, too. It ran about $2k more per slab.

I think the unlacquered brass hardware would be perfect! That is what I plan to use, as well!
