Using different nobs on upper cabinets?

White shaker cabinets, butcher block island (long grain), Bianco Rhino counterops- would it look odd if I did glass nobs on the little upper cabinets (no glass, full door) and a stainless or chrome Williamsburg handle on the cabinets right below the little uppers and on the drawers?

I'd keep all the same. IF you want a different answer you should post pictures of the knobs and pulls and the cabinets. To me, glass knobs and stainless pulls are not the best match.

Yeah, I don't like the idea of purposefully mismatching knobs. If you wanted to use glass knobs on the top and glass cup pulls on the bottom ... or stainless knobs and stainless pulls on the bottom, I'd say yes. But the materials need to match.

No rules w hardware, many combos can work. Go with what you love- just test them first...

I love the idea of glass knobs on top stacked cabinets! Bring some personality to your kitchen, it's not a huge investment to change them if you get tired of the look. If it makes you smile, why not?
