Here's the plant, from top of soil to top of leaf is just over 3.5ft

And this pic is the inner leaf outgrowing the older leaf.... It looked much worse about 1hour ago. I started to stretch and cut the stem a little and the leaf started opening up.

The last photo is the bruise on the 2nd last leaf. I put a small object there to loosen up the leaf and reduce the pressure from newer leaves coming out. I did this Sunday night and removed Monday morning. You can see from the scar that the leaf has moved up about 1 inch since than.

So, the main point of this article... Is it choking due to lack of light? Or are SDC super prone to choking regardless of conditions? How do you combat choking? Am I going at it the right way? Stretching the leaves out and small cuts to the top of the pseduo stem to relieve pressure on inner growth.

Here's the 2nd of 3 photos from original post. Again, the inner leaf was inside the 2nd last leaf until I stretched it out. The more I stretch, the more the leaf would open up.
