It is gorgeous! Oh Rita....I’m so glad I’m not alone I did the same thing...with an exception. I pulled my scraps and have a quilt top on my design wall to mimic the box design, more modern and not as pretty as your box. Guess you never know where design inspiration will come from!

I do this all the time. I see designs everywhere I go and say to hubby "I could make a quilt out of that!" He just says "I know you could". I have snapshots of lots of patterns, rugs in hotels, rock walls, rows of buildings, painted fences. I even collected pictures of antique door knobs all over Europe. Only an Aztec design has ever made it to fabric and even that not quilted because I ran out of material. So, I know exactly how you feel. That's a ME TOO!

Oh wait. I did make an applique quilt from a design I saw on my laundry basket. It's done but not quilted. I'll post it someday.

Toolgranny...you make me feel better....I’ve got one too many pics on my iPad that are inspirations for quilts, but you are ahead of me, you’ve made a few, whereas I’ve not made one...yet.

I love it! I take pictures, too, thinking they would make a great quilt pattern! Not crazy at all!!!

Lovely, Rita! I once saved a tissue box because of the stylized flowers of the design. And I saved a child’s drawing from the Subaru magazine years ago for the tree design showing all four seasons.
