Hi,

I have used Birds Eye Maple(SW) in two homes-gorgeous...depending on the light. My challenge is those green and brown undertones with a lack of light in the evening or day. I have endlessly looked at yellows and golds, reviewed many posts, designer tips...still searching. I am using this color in a high ceiling entrance way and as the color for the common/border walls. (Dining room will be accented in red and the den/living room in a rich medium green. Suggestions there too?)

BM Hawthorne Yellow appears too yellow. The more I review yellows (and lots of them)-the more I believe I trend to the rich gold tones. Is there a beautiful light to medium gold with less green and brown than some of the others? It is a stunning color when you get it right! (I too have made that several hundred dollar mistake in the yellows in the past!) Help please and pictures too if anyone can share!

Also, new suggestions for a perfect kitchen green that will accentuate white cabinets and the eart tones in the tile. (Have used Shortgrass prarie in the past.)
