It's a non-issue. The opening is always oversized so that the door can be plumbed, and the sizes of the gaps are irrelevant. Once the door is trimmed out, you'll never see any of this. Why do you think it's a concern?

The rough opening is always bigger than the door (frame) to allow the door to be hung properly in the opening. For exterior doors, any gaps are filled with foam but left alone for interior doors. Trim covers the gaps.

Just looking at your pictures, that's not the best hanging job I've ever seen. The door is away from the jamb in the top left but tight in the top right. You're notice the gap opens as it goes down on the right side too. Up to you if you want to say something about that.

ALSO I see a wood jamb or frame and a steel door. I can pretty well guarantee that is a standard prehung door unit and not a FIRE DOOR. A fire door will have a metal frame or jamb, generally adjustable in width or depth to accomadate drywall.

I meant 20 minute, steel framed doors are usly 90 minute. 20 Minute is fine for most residential.

Ok, I get you. Here in my area the doors need to be 45 min and the expandable frames are required at a minimum with a steel system. Or a full metal buck.
