What is the size of the room?

• A simple way to determine a chandelier size is to add the dimensions of the room together in feet and then convert the answer to inches. The answer in inches should equal the diameter of the fixture. So if your room measures 10' x 14' the diameter of the fixture should be about 24".

A photo of the space and if the furniture isn’t in the room yet, add separate photos of the pieces. It is difficult to make suggestions without seeing the other components. Add the photo as a comment.

Please post pictures of the space , have you actually seated 12 people at that table , IMO 8 would be comfortable and 12 will be a squeeze so I would take 4 chairs away and only bring them out when needed. Yes you can seat a person in 24” but really 30” is better as for the chandeleir you will need to post pics of this space and surrounding spaces.

Thank you everyone. The room is 12’x 12’ and the table is custom made 6’x6’. I got the chairs off of houzz.com 2 months ago, not sure if I can return any at this point. The cabinetry on the left is going to be refinished to have plain white doors and no handles.

Also, taking into consideration the chair leg color, does it matter to go with the same finish of the chandelier or I can mix and match silver and gold tones? Looking to set up the table for New Years also, purple accents with white, clear, gold and silver tones

About half the size of your table would put you at 36" so look for a chandelier in that range. Beings the metal on chair legs is so small I wouldn't worry too much about it being a perfect match with your chandelier

For a square table, I'd opt for a round shape. I'd consider a chain mail style for your room. It's modern, a touch edgy but still glam. They're also relatively unique, so you won't see one in every other dining room.
