I like the carpet in the second pic, I think it will look great with your stair and wall colors.

I agree, I like the second one (the Berber) better than the chevron.

The chevron seems dizzying on the stairs. I like the other better.

They are both so alike, at least on the computer monitor, that it's very difficult to say. If the colors are true renditions, then I think you're good with either one.

I can't see a difference between the two. If one has a bit more brown/beige than the other, I'd go with that one.

With Chicago winters it’s so hard to get a day with enough sunlight to give an exact read inside. There is a subtle difference -one is cooler and one is warmer. Also, would you bind or serge? I know serging costs more but is it worth the finished edge?
