It is really lovely, Lois. Browns can make nice quilts. I have a top in browns which is waiting for its backing.

That is a stunning top, Lois. I don’t think I’d ever tire of looking at it. It’s almost optical-illusion-y in that the individual squares seem to swirl. Awesome use of scraps!

You’re right, Theresa. I do like to exercise a fair bit of control over my “scrappy” quilts. Probably, the only truly scrappy quilts I’ve made were my log cabins. I controlled only for light and dark on those. This quilt drove me slightly crazy until I figured a way to determine how to keep track of how many of each triangle I needed. There two sets of four different triangles in each 15” block. If you made the triangles with WOF strips, it was easy to keep straight, but I was using a lot of shorter true scraps, so it was harder. I’m really pleased with the result though. Like Colleen, I really like the movement and the “on point” secondary pattern.
