I like the sheepskin idea... what about a gray Henley with a sheepskin on the bare floor?

Hotel border, assuming it fits : ) Don't need sheepskin if that's the case. You should draw the room and add all dimensions, doorways etc. Very hard to see what you have

The rug you have chosen will compete with the bedding. I would suggest a solid in a blue or gray is you prefer. With that said, it appears to be a small room so the majority of the rug is hidden by the bed. I would opt for two smaller rugs on either side of the bed.

Two more choices... white or gray sheepskin... and would it be ok with two pillows on bed?... And here is a pic of entry where a 2x6 sheepskin could go, and no area rug, just a 2x3 on

other side.

Would a sheepskin rug on either side of the bed be too much fur given the two fur pillows on the bed?
