If you did do them in the white, I think your river white granite would work a bit better.

Something like this would look very nice w/your flooring. the backsplash too. (has tinges of gray around the edges)

also check out Kashmir White. it's similar to river white.

Quartz? look at the gray w/bits of mirror. With white cabs and your flooring, it would look very updated. especially w/a cool backsplash. and since you hardly have any, it wouldn't cost much to splurge a bit.

I love this glass backsplash w/white cabs and a solid top. your small kitchen needs something like this to add a little oopmh. please, no plain white subway tile!

River White, in a honed finish. if you will be painting, add some trim work to the sides of your cabs to give them a finished look. this is actually pretty easy to DIY.

you can choose to omit that, and if doing a tile backsplash, please do! It's the 4" piece up the back, or tile. not both. (don't let them charge you for the backsplash piece either! always deal in cash to get a better price. They get these pre-fabs from china for cheap, so don't get taken)
