Last year, I was able to get a decent start on renovating my lawn with KBG. I'd like to get opinions about winter/spring feeding. I would like to apply Dimension when the turf heats up to about 50 degree F, if possible. However, I was unable to get winter fertilizer down before winter arrived, due to unseasonably wet weather and scheduling conflicts. My questions are: Can I apply a winter fertilizer (late winter/early spring) and/or also apply Dimension for weed control at the appropriate time. What would be the best type of fertilizer or treatment if both can be used. If both can't be used, what would be the recommended treatment, fertilizer or Dimension? I do have an irrigation system and can water as necessary once the freeze threat is over. Thanks for your input.
