Long Hexagon vs Subway tile

I am tiling a laundry room. Cabinets are white shaker, a gray laundry sink and the quartz countertop as pictured. I am torn between the 1x6 white hexagon or the 4x12 white subway.

I would be using the hex vertically, or the subway in s horizontal stacked bond pattern. And I'm leaning toward s gray grout, probably similar to the sink color.

Can't decide on the tile!! Help!!!

Not a fan of those hexagons at all, to be honest, but then again I don't know what the overall design is. Also not a fan of the giant subway tiles (though I do like subway tiles in general). My personal favorite subway tile size is around 6" x 2" - most classic, I guess.

The subway tile is classic and has fewer grout lines to get dirty. I would worry about the hexagon tile looking oudated at some point.

I feel like the hexagon is a little formal for the laundry room. I would go with the subway and I love the gray grout with the subway.
