Continue the tile. If you don't it looks like it isn't integrated with the rest of the kitchen. You also have a natural break point with the window trim.

Would it be possible to do the whole wall in that great penny round? Make a statement wall with the chalkboard? I can't see what else is going on in your room but that tile is just so fun!

Thanks for all the great input. We're going to extend to that small area to the left of the pantry, which will act as a mail area. We'll also be building a seating nook to the right of that cabinetry. We considered taking tile all the way up near sink, but decided we wanted to add small hanging plants there. I'll post a picture after next phase is complete. Thanks!

Yes we would, however we would also think it might be nice to extend it up to go around the window as well. Kinda of like how in this image from one of our designs below we extended the tiles up and around the hood.

Continue the tile. you want to create a cohesive space and that would tie in that little area. I have a similar space in my own kitchen design and tile looks better!

we actually left it untiled for about a month after had finished the kitchen, and it drove me crazy so I tiled it!
