Forsythia branches in spring would be so cool too. Seasonal flowers would be great. Just put glass stones in the bottom of the base yo weigh it down so it doesn’t tip over easily. Clustered with other pieces will help too.

Ok. The tray is beautiful. Try putting tallest jar in center, the magnolia on left and bowl to right.

All the pieces touch - too crammed in (it clink when you walk by it) something needs to be changed out. I can repurchase the cobalt vase and return the ginger jar - will it look like an odd piece thrown in or intentional? I can return any if the three pieces, and make a change.

Was there a ginger jar about 2” shorter. I do like the 3 pieces in blue and white. Just need to think stair steps. Pappa size, momma size and baby size! Lol. Approximately 12”, 9” And 3-4 with flowers — that concept.

That is Pier One’s shorter jar. I will go back to the drawing board. On another note, I think I’m going to use less saturated tones when I repaint. I like the softness of the Halo - it’s more relaxing. Thanks for the measurements for the pieces - it helps so much!

Those are approximate of course, just depends on what you find. Start with the biggest and add as you go! Dining rooms are the one room where you can go more saturated and really enjoy that when entertaining or just having a special time in your dining room. The Sea Star would be really nice in your dining room. Of course if you go with more blue/green in the dining room, you might want to look for jars and pieces for the entry chest with those colors or at least some soft greens. Pier 1 had a gorgeous sage green set before Christmas. Just keep an open mind.

Right wall as you face the front door? That is very pretty and has the same coloring in the framing as your chest so I think that will work. Hang it so it is hung midway or the stacked pictures. In other words, look at the stacked ones, note the area where there is separation from the two pictures then make that the center of this picture. Very pretty water color? Or Japanese art? Love the coloring. Those colors also remind me of the Sea Star color! Yeah! AND YES, do shop there. Great looking pieces!

Just dropped in to make a small comment. Love your home, it’s lovely. I’m voting for the Halo color in the foyer. Love it with white trim. I also like very much the vignette on the chest with ginger jar, vase with flowers and small bowl. If you take away the large ginger jar, a large plate on a plate stand with the flowers in front and small bowl or jar to the side of the jar would look good too. I agree with Flo that the Sea Star would be delicious in the dining room. You’re doing great.

Pro Hardware, the cat was in love with the branches. He was on the chest playing with them as soon as I put them up there. I returned them before he broke the vase.

I like this layout a lot better the vase and bowl looks nice but it appears you changed the plant bowl it looks a lot bigger making everything too much in the same scale

I like both vignettes. If you use the vase with flowers I think the flowers need to be a little tighter together in the vase.

Beautiful pieces. Try large base back center/left. Overlap with plate set horizontally. Then small pot with one magnolia.

You could go kind of reverse coloring. Navy blue being more predominant. This is nice one. Comes in different sizes plus a 6’ round.

I am just following ...and noticed that you have received some great advise and your house looks beautiful and more pulled together now . BUT i am surprised that nobody mentioned the entry floor ... I would have changed the floor to a wood floor ...at first thought .., it may be practical with the tile but it's not that nice looking ...no matter what rug you put on top .., in my eyes.

I would use a large sisal/ coir/jute runner approx 32x whatever it takes to go past the chest. Very pretty so far.
