Lots of land contour and elevation changes going on there, just the way I like it! With all that surrounding forest, you surely must have plenty of deer!

Yes we have deer. I have my own deer hunter and his three sons. The entire area was crawling with them at the opening of hunting season Thanksgiving weekend. It was a madhouse out there. Deer browsing is largely confined to their learned native plant tastes. That is mostly less than ten plant species of which we have plenty to share. Garden wise, deer really aren't a problem. The voles however can be a PITA.
