First Im hoping you will also have some task lighting to go with this fixture. As long as you stay in the same metal finish most things will go with this. Not sure what your overall theme is ? Is there a stair case? You dont need anything too big here as maybe you can post a picture of the floor plan?

according to your plan, if the "tech" is the office then how would they be seen together? Infact very few of your lights will be seen together. In reality most people do no notice entry lights until they are leaving, as when they walk in they look where they are going. In your case the rooms really aren't "open to the foyer. Yes that light can work in the entry, that being said this is clear glass so the bulb will be glaring the picture shows an Edison bulb, this is not very bright. I would think to get something that you can manage the light from better. This is more of an accent light.
