I don't believe this rose is available in the US, and frankly I'm not sure that it's really to my taste. I've read it looks better when it's not planted in full sun. I see yours is in a pot, Adam, and it certainly has a lot of blooms. Your specimen is actually quite pretty compared to other pictures I've seen. Some roses need to be seen in the flesh, so to speak, and this might be one of them.

Very pretty, love the colour. Your friend seems to be growing it beautifully.

Sorry, not your rose, but your friend's, but obviously you have visiting rights!

my babies are coming along nicely :)

hopefully I'll have Hugo's for my float bowl next year

Hugo looks great. It will be a while ( still a baby ) and I am sure it will reward you well. I hope they will bloom just as heavily and beautiful like your friends.
Your plumerias looks great in the bowl. I bet they smell wonderful. I might get a few in March when the botanical gardens gets their annuals meet in March ( I think). I will get some that comes from Hawaii. I believe there are 4 or 5 colours and I might get them all . Think I need giant pots like you have. I remembered the guy who sells them told me they grow as only the size of the pot but in ground they grow full.

One of the new Hugos has built up enough to allow a few blooms. a bit small, but I'm expecting bigger next year.
We are in for a heat wave and thunderstorms, so not sure how well they will last.

Your baby Hugo is gorgeous!

It is beautiful !!

Yours looks so beautiful.. I love the yellow versus your friends which is more pink. Looks better when I enlarge it as you can see the details. It must change colours as it fades or weather related perhaps. If you know what I meant like my Marie Van Houtte is different but when I see her pics is more pink in winter.
