Hi Houzzers, We moved into our house 6 months ago. Planning to tackle a master bath renovation in a few years, to address most surfaces.... It’s functional but dated. I am struggling to figure out if there is a better layout plan. Was built in ‘89 and the house is contemporary. Our style is rustic / modern blend.

Attached is a floor plan sketch and a bunch of pics as you walk through. The bathroom is a really odd L shape and has extremely tall ceilings above the bath, making that corner seem extremely empty, while the shower is on the smaller side. Toilet is also very visible from the door, which I don’t love.

Since we’ll probably need to replace most surfaces (the vanity is the only thing I lean towards keeping), is there a better layout I should consider?
