I like consistency in countertops if the island is different. Leathered via lactea or Virginia mist would be great. So would a natural Carrara.

I personally like having the same countertops when you have a different color island. If you wanted something different, how about a walnut butcher block on the island? What color is your island? Hard to tell from your photos.

My island is BM mineral alloy and I’m afraid to tie in a backsplash to the color because I really am not crazy about the color and hope to repaint it in the near future. It came out to blue. Was hoping for more gray!

do you want a darker or lighter gray? and yes, Alloy is more blue/gray

I did BM Smoke Embers on a wall and it's a warmer gray. nice color

My island is also BM Mineral Alloy. I'm a blue person, so I love it. We have white perimeter cabinets and went with Super White for countertops. Backsplash is 2x8 white subway tile with random 2x2 blue relief tiles that tie in the island.

Did you get your beautiful pendants from Wayfair? If so are you happy with the quality? I’m considering purchasing the 5 light linear lantern chandelier, but I’m hesitant after reading some reviews that mentioned bent candles.

I ordered them from Bellacor.. They are huge! I shopped around and Wayfair had them as well but at the time found the best price on Bellacor. Love them! They were easy to install (my husband did it) and i had no quality issues at all. Good Luck!

I think that the Statuario will be too cool with your floor, but Fantasy Brown could be ok. There might be some other lighter quartz with a little more tan in it that could work, if you prefer that. I don't mind the current stone either, but I also can't see it that well...

I'm just curious as to why? I'm not familiar with that granite. It looks good in your picture. I googled it but what came looked all deep pink and red. Your slabs look creamy in the photo.

Unless you are changing the floor, the countertops do match pretty well. What about changing backsplash to white subway as indicated, and putting white quartz on island and leaving perimeter granite as is. That will save money and provide symmetry with the floors, while the new island and cabinets and backsplash will too? if you don't like it, you can always change perimeter to black (or leather existing?) later.

i do think it is pretty, and I also love the white/gray marble look you indicated in your original question, but to be honest, not with your beige floors. I think mixing gray in is a mistake. I'd go solid white quartz. simple and fresh, and will really tie in the other changes to your kitchen,.

Totally random suggestion, and perhaps not what you are looking for, but if you don't like the blue on the island, I'd paint it white and leave the countertops as is. Once you change the backsplash and island paint, it will really brighten up your kitchen. If you like the look but still hate the countertops, a walnut top on the white island would look amazing. I had a white kitchen with the same countertops as you. I swapped them out for marble (but I had wood floors so didn't have the gray issue)- but after the perimeter was installed the island broke, and I was out of luck for a match. We ended up using walnut on the island, and I loved it. If you end up leaving the island as a darker color I still suggest white. I like the current color better than gray by the way. I think it looks terrific in your kitchen and will look amazing with a white top.

I wouldn’t change the countertops; they go perfectly with the rest of the kitchen. I would change the backsplash, though, to something without texture. I would also remove the legs from the range hood. ;)

Are the floors limestone? Are you keeping them? How were the cabinets painted, onsite or sent out for spraying at a cabinet sprayer?

They were sprayed onsite and it took about 5 days. Not posting a before picture since it’s not completed yet :-)
I ordered a white backsplash today and White quartz Island top. Unsure if I will keep the blue on the island yet. Waiting to get the other parts completed first. Won’t be fully done until early March

i like the blue but black paint on the island would look awesome with the white quartz- can't wait to see pics of the new counter and backsplash!

I think white will work. If you re-paint the island, white will always be okay.
I think your floors are throwing you. I’m not sure you need to “match” them. I do like the Fantasy Brown as well.

White counter was installed yesterday! Two more weeks til white backsplash but I’m already seeing such an improvement! We ended up keeping the perimeter granite and installing Caesarstone Statuario Nuvo with a built up edge on the island . It looks nice with the White Dove painted cabinets. Can’t wait for the white subway tile to go in!

Looks really beautiful, and I think it has a lot of warmth and personality because it doesn't look like every other white kitchen - your floor and perimeter countertops give some much-needed originality to today's "white kitchen"
