What color will the new roof be? We need to know that before giving siding color suggestions.

    likely a dark grey/charcoal roof

julia i love the blue door- was considering keeping a color like that. but willing to change it if necessary. was considering a grey for the exterior but seems like it could be tricky as grey on stucco can sometimes feel institutional to me

    What a gem!! Lovely details!

Do you know the history behind the home? Any old photos? I would want to stay true to its origins.

The pinkish color reminds me of the historic Olde Pink House Restaurant in Savannah. There is an actual reason of why the exterior stucco has been pink for many years. It has to do with the bricks underneath bleeding through. Quite fascinating.

Maybe post this in building a home forum too,-lots of knowledge there to be of help.

If your stucco has not already been painted - do not paint it. It is not supposed to be painted and painting can cause a lot of issues.

Your home is classic and beautiful. Not sure I would change much.

LOVE your house, so classic and pretty. I think a classic Light Grey for the stucco (YES you can paint it! Be sure they use a acrylic latex paint or elastomeric product) and keep the doors a pretty blue but perhaps a bit to the teal blue range for a bit of a "pop".

Here is an inspiration photo of the color combo I was suggesting:

slightly different style of home but I think the colors will look even better on your new home.

I actually love the pink. Are you sure you want to change it?

Nice home! Personally I think a gray/blue hue or a tan would look really good with that roof and stucco. You’re right, a dull gray would look pretty dreary on it. If in doubt, you can always google “stucco home paint colors” and see what people are doing- you also can see different Houzz photos. Last but not least many companies offer pro design consults with a designer (ours does). If they offer it near you, it’s a really good investment before painting!

Here's your house with a dark gray roof:

I hope you won't do gray stucco. It will suck the life from this house.

Grabbed some quick photos of the Olde Pink House for reference. Like groveraxle. I love the pink too :)

I’m going to challenge the person who claims stucco should not be painted. Stucco can and should be painted, with the proper paint. Elastomeric paint is one, I’m sure there are others. In California, stucco is regularly painted without any problems.

I like what you have. I wouldn’t change it. Although, pale yellow is always pretty.

With soft gray and black doors.

I really like all 3 colors groveraxle posted a handful of comments above. My favorite is a soft yellow, with the light sage green a very close second. I would shy away from using gray or anything dark. Seeing it in gray gives me a haunted house vibe.

Here is another example of a soft gray. Like it with the dark window frames.

A tan would look good, too.

Love the door color! I agree with Michelle McCaskey and Grover. Love the color of the last out of three colors posted by Grover. The color is not too dark or too light. Keep us posted. Would love to see what you decide on.
