I don't think your light fixtures are large or brash enough. Don't just fill that area with any old thing. I would look for a conversation piece to be a deliberate statement. How about a full size carousel horse (or other animal?) Maybe you can look at some nurseries for outdoor decor pieces that will grab attention. Something striking or fun that makes that spot a show stopper!

Thank you very much for your response! I do agree about the lighting. Just moved here and that will be changed in the future. That being said, that ledge may be slightly misleading as there is not quite that much space up there. Please do share any other ideas!

Perhaps some really cool black and white prints, love the high rise pics or maybe something more personal. Some funky chandeliers

I would just change out the light fixture and put nothing on the ledge.
