A while back I posted about taking down the wall between our living room and kitchen. Well, it's happening!

I plan to take out the counter with stools to make more room to move between the family room and kitchen/future dining area. It always got congested in that small space when we had people over.

Thoughts are to put an island in the kitchen and a table of sorts just on the other side of the wall that's coming down.

Questions - what to do with the rest of the old living room? Is there room for a couple of chairs ie a reading area?

Right now we swivel the tv between the family room/fireplace and the kitchen. We can watch when sitting at the counter with black stools. Is there a way to create an island so we can do the same thing?

I thought about having a counter where the wall was - counter on the kitchen side and seating facing the bay window/living room.

I like the idea of putting a wall up to create a foyer at the front door.
