For those who haven’t seen my zillion posts about this room, here is the room now. The white bed can be painted or I may use a wax to antique it. The lamps are staying, hence my issue. I feel like matching lamps AND matching side tables is a bit too symmetrical for me.

My first issue, I do need a small desk somewhere in this downsized house. I was thinking the far side of the bed was a good spot. I can hide my laptop in a drawer and just dig it out when I need it. I have a small wicker chair in the corner for that purpose.Then I was planning on a small chest on the other side for the additional drawers. But now I don’t need the drawer space so can just do a matching desk type piece.

Thoughts on styles, or colors, etc?
