My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

1980s contemporary ranch kitchen before and after

My mom moves a couple of hours north to be closer to her family, and after searching for months, finally found a 1980s contemporary ranch that just happened to be on my street. :)

She didn’t like the closed off kitchen, so one of her main priorities was opening up the wall to the dining room where the range was originally located. She had the old peninsula and desk removed and extended the wall to now accommodate the new range. We had help from Houzz finding affordable tiles with a handmade appearance -- she's an artist and wanted something that went with her massive pottery collection.


Thought I'd share the finished look.
