What about a couple of cream color largish square ottomans (or a large rectangle) in leather or fabric? If you could find them in a fabric like Crypton, the light color won't matter, the fabric is so durable. Same with leather; I think you can treat it to make it more stain resistant.

This is a pretty space, but it will be more comfortable if you turn the rooms right side up. I do not like the way the dining carpet extends all the way to the sofa. One or the other needs to move to give you some visual separation between the spaces.

you want durable? to bring in table color, etc....I'd try a reclaimed wood coffee table and maybe with brushed paint streaking in rustic touch.

Thanks everyone! @groveraxle what do you mean "Turn the room right side up?" on the right is all doors to go to the outside. i can push the Gray rug more towards the wall so it falls within the sofa rather than outside of it? i'm not sure i understand what you are saying.

Need more floor space between back of sofa and dining room rug. Also, I vote for the biggest honkin.. ottoman coffee table you can find. Put a tray on it for drinks. Also need some soft wooly throw blankets to get cozy.

I moved your whole dining area about a foot further from the sectional. Don't know if this is even possible. Then I thought it would be awesome if you had a rug that picked up some of the colors in your art wall. Green didn't look so hot with the dining rug, so I chose orange.

Multiple small(ish) round tables are very practical and you can get them in several colours to tie in with the art wall.

Hello everyone! Thanks for your awesome advice. I agree w @groveraxle. I think I may need to consider replacing my rug w something a little more orangey. We love the gray poofy rug. But I’m not sure it matches and is making the purchase of the coffee table quite challenging.

I liked @BeverlyFLADeziner recommendation of the 2 x silver patina tables. They are “different”. But I think I may need to add a glass top.

What do you guys think of these one? Do they clash w the sectional? The first 2 are from wayfair and I think I’d put 2 as u all recommended. The 3rd amazon and only 1. Can I keep the rug or change it for something beigier? Sorry I stink at colors! You all have been tremendously helpful!

These all look OK with your rug. One thing to consider: will you have to move this table every time you recline the sofa? None of these look especially easy to move.

Reclining sofas and coffee tables really don't mix....I know from experience. Maybe use two smaller tables, easy to move out and back.
