Great job! Were there any difficult details? Your wall color is light and the floor adds warmth. Is the flooring vinyl or a floating floor? Can you tell us about the projector and screen?

@gle2011 Ceilings are 9’ max and 8’ under the soffits

@Michelle The flooring is Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring

@Steve Grimes The homeowner handled everything for the projector and screen on this project but we do work with a multimedia company to do installations if anyone wants us to handle that part. All we did on this was have the electricians put an outlet on the ceiling and ran an HDMI cord where they wanted it.

For the LVP, can you tell that it's artificial? Did you consider engineered hardwood?

tdothouse - LVP was used in the Indianapolis Home Show house. I wish I'd known before I walked through it because I just assumed it was wood. I would have paid closer attention to it. Some of the LVP looks a lot like the real things nowadays! For me, it's close enough that I'm using it in the basement.

oh - and I whacked a sample of LVP with the spiked side of a metal meat mallet. There was one teeny-tiny pin-hold sized mark that could only be seen if you ran your hand across it to find it first. It' seriously durable stuff....or at least the sample I have is.
