Spyder Skylights

You have sunlight hitting a 12” diameter section of your roof. With one tunnel, you’re bringing that 12” diameter patch of light into your home. If you have two tunnels connected to the one roof opening, you’re now going to divide the amount of light by 2 plus whatever additional losses you get from the tunnel complexity. Long way of saying no.

I called them. They pretty much said what you did.

About 15 years ago, we did this in our cabin, which had a pitched roof with the spine going north-south. We put the roof opening on the west side to get the most sun (this was at 8300' in the mountains of NM where 80 degrees in the summer is a heat wave so you need to consider how much heat you want to let in in your location).

One tube went into a hallway, fairly straight down from the hole. The other went sideways into our bath, maybe 6' away, so not a steep angle.

This set up worked great! I don't care if the amount of light was divided by 2; what I had before was no (sun) light so that was dividing by zero lol. NM gets a LOT of sunshine and very few cloudy days, pretty much the exact opposite of Portland OR for example, so maybe dividing the light by 2 didn't matter because there's so much light.
