Building a log home and the floating staircase is supposed to be an L shaped one (that turns at the wall 2-3 steps above ground level). Because the staircase will be be open on both sides going up, we'd like to make the platform (L at the bottom become a T or like a bridge) which is accessible from both sides of the house (front door entry and great room - staircase is in the middle of the home). Does anyone have any pictures they can share of this design style? I've been searching but haven't had any success. Thank you!
