We have a dilemma. We purchased this rustic vinyl laminate flooring when we first moved in this home, sort of impulsively, not thinking about the trim. The existing trim is a beautiful, custom maple. Every picture online shows white trim paired with this color/style of flooring. The flooring does have some tan/brown tones in it so wondering if we could pull off keeping the maple trim versus painting it white? Also, our doors in the hallway are beautiful maple. We've already installed the new flooring in our livingroom but have not started the hallway. If we switch to white trim, we'll likely have to paint the walls too. Any insight? We are not great with design. Thank you!
