I would keep it classic white. Balances the beautiful dark wood. Let the white be the canvas to wonderful art pieces and decor that work with your design theme and colors. Best wishes!

Caponata is a beautiful color. I paired it with Dove White woodwork.

I suggest you paint the top of the wall in a purple and the bottom white. All the strong colors will be low to the floor.

ok he added more to choose from,I used to like purples,maybe not after looking at purples all day.We want the wood to stand out ,you can't tell in the pic but the wood shows lighter brown too in the banisters.The wood is beautiful
