Paint color dilemma: love white

Hi. I love white rooms ... I have Ben Moore Manchester Tan on all the trim throughout my house (this was not my choice); I love bright white trim w a contrasting light or white on the walls. I have ceiling areas that are 20+ feet. Can anyone suggest a white for tall expansive walls to go (or contrast) w Manchester Tan where the white will not end up looking like primer bc it is lighter than the trim? (I like the Manchester Tan, but I would probably like it better on the walls & have the trim brighter white ... Trying to leave trim alone to avoid paying $5k to redo it, though). Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

dalma darling. great pics including Manchester Tan . . .. but, in my house, the previous owners did Mnachester Tan on the TRIM. Do you think a room would look good with a reverse paint job? (The white on the walls, and the Manchester Tan on the trim?)

I still have not completed this project - getting quotes. To change the trim throughout the whole house is almost 10K, and I am trying to avoid that . . . (yes, trim only).

Yes, I think that it would look great! I'd love to see a photo of one of your rooms to get a feel for your style and the space if you're willing to share!

I thought these examples might help you envision a slightly darker trim against lighter walls - I think it's a sharp look.

Here is a pic of my yellow walled stairwell that I want to change; and the sitting room that is open to the front door area, which also ends up opening to the stairwell.
I would like to put frames paneling (chair rail height) in the sitting room, too.

Your house is gorgeous! I love the details of the ceilings and molding. I think you will be so happy with the lighter walls and keeping that manchester tan trim. Go for it!

did you end up painting? I realize this was years ago, but I'm having the same issue. We have crown molding and trim everywhere. The previous owners did Manchester tan with beige walls. Im getting ready to repaint the walls but its hard to find a color to go with the manchester trim. I want to make it lighter! I'd love to see what you did
