The rug you have now…you have laid it in the wrong direction. Try putting the 7.6 horizontally to the fireplace, even if it means a lot of it goes under the sectional.

I like the rug. I like how it works with the sectional. Before you get rid of a lovely wool rug, think about using the celery green color, which does bring an unexpected color/opportunity in your scheme.
