Not really a fan of tubs, but this one is perfect for your space.

Thank you M&R and Designer Drains. The vanities are metal wrapped wood from Restoration Hardware, and the tub for me is a necessity, with a back injury. I'm happy with the finished bathroom.

Thanks so much for the positive feedback. bwing166 the pebble tiles are marble and are the same as on the shower floor, which you can't see from this photo unfortunately. I extended those from the shower towards the tub like a path. I was hoping it wouldn't be too whimsical, glad you like it.

Norwood thanks yes that shower ended up being very nice, I was lucky when I took out that previous ugly 'beam', that it allowed for a nice sized shower.

very nicely done! I think the pebbles add interest, and a bit of slip insurance for wet feet getting out of the tub. Clever and pretty! Enjoy it.

Your new bathroom is beautiful. I would also like to remove our tub and put in a soaking tub like you did. was the plumbing for the soaking tub expensive? Did you have to cut into the concrete? I need get some people out for quotes, but would like a idea. Thank you.

Lily, I had a deck mount tub before which they tore out and so had floor and dry wall repair to do when it came out. The plumbing had to be moved, and I think any good plumber could give you a quote for that. As you can see I ripped out the entire previous bathroom, so it was a major renovation, but I think if you were doing just the floor and you had a deck tub you could accomplish this. I didn't have a separate quote for just the tub, so my numbers wouldn't be comparing apples to apples. I wish you luck!
