consistent tile size?

I am have a shower installed (pulling out tub and just installing tile shower). I am thinking of doing a white subway tile -offset bond- on the side walls and on wall behind toilet (like a wainscoting). the back wall of the shower will be glass subway probably vertical stacked, double basket weave or 90° herringbone. my question is, do you think it is odd to have different size tiles? maybe 4x10 for white subway and 4x12 for glass tile. or do you think it doesn't matter since they will be laid in different patterns?

This is just my opinion and I am not a pro, but I think if you're doing different tiles, they should be different sizes entirely. I think it's similar to when you're mixing patterns in clothing - it looks good to mix a large and a small pattern in the same outfit, but if the patterns are both small or both large, they clash. I would mix it up more.
