Orange colour sectional sofa

I have this Machalke Machalke leather sectional sofa and really hate the colour, I am thinking of changing the cover of the back and sitting mattresses, as I can't change the base cover due to the cost.
I need help to either choose the colour which goes well with orange base or any better option.

Dark brown throw and turquoise cushions?

We had two high quality couches. When the fabric wore out, the cushions and frame were still in great shape. So we had the back and seat cushions reupholstered in a coordinating fabric to buy a few more years. Given the ages of our kids and dog, we weren't ready to invest in new couches. I always thought they looked okay. It's not that we were embarrassed to have people over or anything. But we never would have gone to the store and picked out a couch with cushions that didn't match. All of this is to say that I think you'd be better off living with the couch as it is. Save the money you'd put into recovering the cushions, and put it into a new couch saving account. While you personally might not love the current color, it looks nice in the room. Just my two cents.

I love your sectional, too. Use orange couch in the search engine for photos. I liked dark grey and black with orange couches or marine blue.

I really like your couch. And two tone couches can be a difficult look to work with. I think a vibrant color like orange is helped by throws and pillows so that the orange doesn't appear overwhelming. And they can make a real difference in the look of the sectional. I would certainly try that first. Lots of possibilities with orange. If you wanted to go a bit softer and more neutral, you could go for a throw in the color of the wood and softer colored pillows. Or you could go more bold with more vibrant colors.
Some suggestions per the softer route:

You could try looking for some upolstery fabric with an Aztec, Navaho or Santa Fe feel... Throws and cushions, even mismatched and eclectic, would soften the look, and also allow you time to decide what really suits your taste. You could even try cow hide.

I agree ... embrace it! Add art and decorative items with the same orange in them. Complimentary opposite of orange is blue, so using a colour wheel, find your shade and go with opposite blue hue. Tossing an oatmeal throw over a large area of the sectional could soften it too.

For my two cents, if you are wishing to have just the cushions recovered, I would suggest a multiple colored fabric such as the one I used shown here.it is very forgiving, does not show marks, does not stretch or lose its shape. It is woven, picks up whatever color that you wish to put with it. I've used leopard prints, chocolate, a soft lime green and an array of gold colors.
Something like this may just turn out to last a lot longer than a new sofa unless you have unlimited resources.

This is too nice to mess with adding even more color or texture. Design around it - the color is nicer than you think. I do think that if you found some great fabrics to work with you would love it more. Let it be the color in the room and let everything else be neutral. It looks great with the wood in your space.

Too many warm colors going on. You need a powder blue (accent pillows in a plush fabric or flatweave rug) or any shade of grey to set this straight.

Funny how Collettec said the same colour as me assuming you would say floorboards brown and photos suggested by Anne dee show colours I suggested!
