Lovely room and gorgeous color on the walls! I'd also consider updating your ceiling fan. Not too $$$ and would really work well in your space. Also, have you thought about painting the vent cover the same as your wall color? We started doing that a few years ago in our rooms and it really looks good.

Love the wall color and pretty bed; a good start to a tailored space. A few things I would do when you find the time and budget; replace the fan with a new light fixture (keep it tailored,) remove the mirror leaning next to the closet, upgrade and upsize the rug a bit, and pare down the fluffy curtains which look odd on short windows, IMO. I think your room would look larger if you used some woven wood or fiber shades or blinds instead, and they could pick up on the wood tones you've injected.

Very nicely done, and a good example of how a dark wall color can be used to good effect. My comments have to do with small issues, such as the curtains being slightly too long, which is an easy fix by putting up the curtain rods a bit higher. I agree that the fan is rather clunky. The white closet doors break up that side of the room and might look better painted blue, ditto the vents. I don't quite see the purpose of the mirror on the floor next to the closet. The choice and placement of objects on flat surfaces is really well done.

I thought I had responded earlier about the fan, it will be upgraded after I decide exactly what I want. We definitely need a ceiling fan rather than a light fixture but I haven’t settled on specifics yet. As for the mirror, that’s just functional not decorative. I may mount it or move it but I’m not too concerned with it. I may hem the curtains, but that is as high as we can hang them with the drill we have ‍♀️
