Another ID please, El Teide, Tenerife

I spotted this, in the caldera of El Teide (2200m). It was just about the only plant I found in flower. Conditions were cold, and very dry. Most plants hadn't commenced spring growth.

Flowers look a bit Echiumish :-)) to me, but not the foliage.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for your suggestion, but I am not sure.

All images I can find of Henbane flowers seem to show a tessellated type pattern on the petals which this doesn't appear to show. Also the pistil length seem to be quite different.

Time to check out Henbane relatives.

Henbane looks a good match to me.

I've been digging around and I suspect that this might be Hyoscyamus albus, the white henbane. Native to Canary Islands and has the black throat.

The flowers vary and not all have the patterning. The pistil is clearly visible in many of the images on the web. I'm pretty sure on this one. It's a plant I do know and have seen myself. However, could be Hyoscyamus albus which I don't think I've seen.
