Goodbye G-Shaped Kitchen

last modified: 7 years ago

It's hard to believe this jaw-dropping space was once nothing more than an overstuffed, outdated, G-shaped kitchen. Space was an issue for these clients, when redesigning and remodeling their home, we wanted to open the entire area and create an open floor plan to fit this active family’s needs. We removed the existing walls that separated the kitchen from the living room. we reconfigured the existing kitchen to allow for a beautiful long kitchen island, creating a more bright and open space

The long kitchen island highlights the length of the room and the openness of the space which connects the new living room and dining room. This brand-new kitchen features state-of-the-art appliances, granite countertops, modern pendant lighting and an attractive new backsplash that really takes this kitchen to new heights.

Bright white custom cabinets and light gray walls look stunning against the warm hardwood floors. While a stunning handmade island takes center stage. The center island features a prep sink and a casual spot for family dining, creating a warm, cheery environment perfect for entertaining.

    Great reuse of space!

It's a beautiful, smart kitchen design. On top of which, all of the finishes work really well together.

    Excellent design decisions here!

A floor plan would be nice. I am having a hard time with where each space was and is now!!

    It is a lovely job.
