Here is Zig Zag Zoom. I omitted the last border of 2 1/2" squares and a solid and replaced it with one print. That fabric has a little story. Back in the first days of quilting, when every fabric called my name, I bought a good piece of yardage which was all stripes. Well, it sat in the bin for a long time, then last year when I was trying to organize after the flood, I looked at and decided I would never use it as is, but those stripes might come in handy. So it got torn into long lenghts of various stripes. When I was looking for a fabric to use as the final border on this quilt, a light bulb went off. And there it is. I even mitered the corners, not perfectly but 98%.

What a great way to use the striped fabric. Very clever of you. And a perfect way to use up scraps. I like the juxtaposition of a modern design with the more traditional fabrics. Nice work.

What a fun pattern. That's very nice and a good suggestions for the stripped fabric. I think I have some, too, that I didn't know what to do with.

What a fun quilt! Sometimes I use striped fabric for binding, cut so the stripes are perpendicular to the top.

Char, it is the name of the pattern, if you Google, the pattern, or at least the block, will come up. I am not clever enough to design anything.
