Does anyone know what this weird succulent is called?

I have this plant that had babies all along the leaf edges. Those fell off and self rooted. Tons of them. Now it has grown pink bell flower buds that are starting to bloom. I live in Encinitas, CA and had seen lots of succulents, but this one isn't that common here. What the heck is this thing?
