Drawer Pull Size Advice

My cabinets are coming soon and they want me to have the pulls on site for the install day.

I have two drawer base cabinets. One is 33 inches, another is 36. I understand the general rule is to do 1/3 of the drawer width if doing a single pull. My chosen pulls come in either 8.5 inches or 14 inches wide. Both are a bit off -- technically I should be doing 11 or 12 inch on these.

I'm just wondering what you guys thought on this. Should I go with the 14inch on both or the 8.5 inch?

They are shaker cabinets with a 2.25 inch rail/stile if that makes a difference.
