Help for choosing exterior paint color

Enclosing different views and different light. We're thinking grays? maybe black door? Need garage door color also. Blend it in or not? What bout railing and faux shutters? The paint chip we are considering is by the pavers and there's also photo of roof tile.

Thank you!

I think your selection is too dark and has too much blue in it. I would select a greige color. Green paln trees will look great in front of this color.

I would consider the entrance in contrasting white.

Thank you...... sadly the palms are gone.

Please no gray! Your gorgeous home deserves better. I agree that warmer colors would be much nicer.

I would paint garage doors same as whatever color you choose for the house.

Painting this house gray will suck all the life out of it. What's wrong with the current color? I like it.

    Yes, I really would...

I wish I knew how you guys do the photos with the color changes. I tried one of SW's and it was a disaster :) Wow the most recent gray looks yucky for sure. I don't like the green shutters.

    Don't like pink, jmobg1?

I paint your house with Photoshop.

    Maybe a warmer gray?

    Or a cream:

I like the last two from groveraxle, especially the cream. But I don't like the center detail trim in stark white.

I would get rid of the two shutters.

    I, too, like the green.

I will only say, rid yourself of the contrasting white bits. Very Disney McMansion strip mall looking. I know there’s a Dollar Tree here somewhere...maybe near the gift shop?

Frankly, I am so tired of gray, grey, and greige that I cannot recommend any of them. The one you show is too blue. I like your green, which could be in two shades with some white trim...no dark green, just medium and light of the same green.

I think your bluey-greys would look great on your house. I would make the light green parts of your house a light grey, the medium green parts a medium grey and dark green parts a dark grey. Make your trim and railing a crisp white and garage door the dark grey. The only thing I would change is I wouldn't contrast the vertical panels in the columns, I would paint them the same surrounding trim colour. Good luck!

I love Beverly’s color recommendation for your place. The only other possibility I’d throw in the ring is to select a door color other than black since it is recessed. It currently looks like you are entering a cave. Your house has great bones, lighter would definitely be better. Good luck and post an “after” pic when you’re done!
