Sconces always give the face an even, flattering reflection. Some sconces, however, give off very little light due to the shade or decorative glass. So choose wisely. One of my clients had a skylight installed..another had a light tube installed to get natural light in. Recessed cans, installed around the perimeter of the room, will light up your walls, art, etc.
