Looks great. I got a whim a few years ago, and painted all mine black. Loved them so much, that I painted all the trim and baseboards and window all black. I have never been sorry I painted them black. I still like them.

Cat, can you post pic of your black trim. I saw antique house which originally had painted white trim/doors, and then instead of stripping (hhhhuuugggge job) they painted it over in a dark charcoal and it looked stunning - completely changed the feel of the house and took it back to having a more early 1900s feel. But contemporary in a way too, the dark charcoal went with a lot of the current fabrics/furnishings.

Current resident, here is the picture you requested. I dont have fancy trim. This is all the original doors and trims from the 60's when this house was built.
