Should be as similar as possible definitely. You also could go wood if that's preferred, was just an idea because I like the chairs. One thing - I think you need to bring one other highlight color into the rom. the rug looks like is has a blue/grey tone to it, so maybe some blues would be nice in the form of accent pillows/ decor items/art. Patterned pillows would be great.
