If you use the netting again, it's a good idea to remove it before snow is predicted.

I have t-posts supporting my netting and once the netting is a couple of years old, it deteriorates from the ultraviolet rays. I replace it every two to three years.

Our garden is made up of 2 huge used stock tanks and various galvanized tubs. We fenced in the whole area with 5 ft. metal fencing using those green posts. We also put in a used gate from a chain link fence. Keeps the deer and rabbits out; raccoons could still climb it if they want to.

The only way to keep all those animals out is to have a sturdy metal fence with the posts, with quarter inch hardwire cloth fencing one foot high at the bottom going underground about 6 inches and outward a foot from the fence (for the tunneling rodents), with electric wires along the bottom and about 2 feet up (for the rabbits, woodchucks and deer.) I know this from 40 years of frustrated rodent trapping gardening experience. That will be my next fence.
